RCMP Musical Ride coming to N.B.

One of Canada’s iconic shows is coming to New Brunswick.

The RCMP Musical Ride will present two shows in Fredericton on Sunday and Tuesday as the force celebrates its 150th anniversary.

It takes place at the Fredericton Exhibition Grounds.

“A symbol of tradition, honour, and pride, the Musical Ride is a Canadian icon recognized at home and abroad,” the Mounties said in a statement.

“The Musical Ride supports front-line police operations by building positive relationships, supporting recruiting efforts and promoting the RCMP’s image in communities in Canada and around the world.”

The RCMP says the Musical Ride consists of up to 32 riders and their horses who perform intricate formations and drills set to music.
