The New Brunswick RCMP said Wednesday a teenager from the St. George area died following a single-vehicle collision in the area.
Mounties responded at around 5:40 p.m. on Tuesday to the a single-vehicle crash on Highway 1, near St. George, N.B.
“The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene as a result of his injuries, reads a news release from the St. George RCMP.
Police did not outline how the crash occurred, but said several first responders attended the scene, including the Eastern Charlotte Regional Fire Service, Ambulance New Brunswick and the New Brunswick Coroner’s Office.
Investigators say a scheduled autopsy will determine the teen’s exact cause of death.
