Police in Oromocto hope the public can aid with an investigation into “incidents of mischief” along railway lines south of Fredericton.
In a news release issued Friday, Mounties responded to two separate incidents in mid-April.
“In two separate incidents, someone placed debris on the train tracks which can lead to an extremely dangerous situation,” reads a news release from the Oromocto RCMP.
Police say they believe both incidents occurred between 7 p.m. on April 13, and 5 a.m. on April 14.
Investigators are now hoping the public can help in the case, asking anyone with information to contact the Oromocto RCMP at 506-357-4300.
