Nobody was injured following a Saturday morning apartment fire in uptown Saint John, according to the Saint John Firefighters Association.
Crews were called to the scene on Sewell Street shortly before 11 a.m. and discovered a fire on the third floor of the building.
“While searching inside for trapped occupants, firefighters forced entry into one apartment and located a lone male occupant who was removed from the building,” reads a Facebook post from the association.
Firefighters say the fire was quickly brought under control, adding that there were no serious injuries reported.
