Bathurst police arrested two men last week after they searched a home in the community and found several illicit drugs.
Officers say the Bathurst Integrated Enforcement/Street Crime unit searched a home on April 19.
“Two males were arrested at location,” reads a Facebook post from the force.
“One male was released and the other male was released with a future court date.”
Police say the search uncovered several illicit drugs, including methamphetamine, a variety of pills and a “substantial amount of unknown white powder.”
Investigators also seized a telescopic baton, a prohibited knife and ammunition.
The force says the matter is still under investigation, but reminded the public to report any suspicious drug activity by calling their local police or providing anonymous tips through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
