Woman Dies In Lincoln Car Crash: RCMP

The New Brunswick RCMP said Sunday afternoon that a 33-year-old Rusagonis woman died Saturday morning after a single-vehicle crash in Lincoln, N.B., near Fredericton.

First responders were called at around 8:44 a.m. Saturday to a single-vehicle collision on Nevers Road in Lincoln, N.B., about 10 minutes away from Fredericton.

“The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene as a result of her injuries,” said Cpl. Dave Penney of the Keswick RCMP in a statement.

“The crash is believed to have occurred when the driver lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway.”

Members of the Oromocto Fire Department and Ambulance New Brunswick also responded to the crash, as well as an RCMP collision reconstructionist and a member of the New Brunswick coroner’s office.

The coroner’s office ordered an autopsy to determine the woman’s exact cause of death.
