The New Brunswick RCMP said Saturday a single-vehicle collision that took place in Black River Bridge, N.B., has killed one person.
Mounties responded at around 2 a.m. to an area of Route 117 following a report of a single-vehicle crash. Ambulance New Brunswick and the Miramichi Fire Department also responded to the call.
“The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene as a result of their injuries,” said Richibucto RCMP Cpl. Ricky Leblond in a news release.
“The crash is believed to have occurred when the vehicle driver lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway.”
Police say an RCMP collision reconstructionist and the New Brunswick Coroner’s office are involved with the ongoing investigation.
