A 35-year-old man was arrested by Saint John police on Tuesday in connection with a robbery at a convenience store.
Police say a masked suspect allegedly entered a store on Loch Lomond Road on the city’s east side at around 10:24 p.m. on Saturday.
“The suspect approached a store employee demanding money while threatening violence,” reads a release from the Saint John Police Force.
“The suspect left the store with a quantity of currency.”
Investigators say nobody was physically injured.
After an investigation by the Major Crime Unit and Forensics Services, police say they arrested a 35-year-old man for robbery.
He was released on conditions and will appear in court on May 9.
