Police in northern New Brunswick continue to search for a 29-year-old man who went missing last month.
The Edmundston Police Force says John Michael Fongémie was reported as missing on Jan. 7.
Deputy Police Chief François Levesque said at the time targeted areas were searched with the assistance of the North-West Ground Search and Rescue and New Brunswick Public Safety Canine Squad.
Officers renewed calls for help this week, saying investigators are “working tirelessly” to find Fongémie.
“The Police Force … will continue to work closely with its partners and the missing person’s family to resolve this case as quickly as possible,” reads a release.
Police say Fongémie is five feet nine inches tall, weighs around 150 pounds and has brown hair with blue eyes.
He was last seen wearing brown boots, blue jeans, a T-shirt and an orange and brown coat.
