Mixed Bag Of Weather Coming For This Weekend

Canada’s weather agency says New Brunswickers should expect and prepare for a mixed bag of precipitation at the end of this week.

A special weather statement says to expect snow, rain and strong winds, with snow beginning overnight Thursday before changing to rain over southern areas on Friday morning.

It then spreads over central and northern areas by Friday evening.

The weather agency says southern areas of New Brunswick could see up to 25 mm of rain, adding that 15 to 30 cm of snow is possible over central and northern portions.

It adds that there is also the possibility of freezing rain as the snow changes to rain, with precipitation tapering off by early Saturday morning.
