Police in Moncton arrested a 34-year-old man Thursday following an ongoing investigation that resulted in the seizure of weapons and drugs.
Officers searched a home on Pacific Avenue at around 11:30 a.m. During the search, they seized quantities of what is believed to be cocaine and methamphetamine.
“Police also seized several firearms, including a .22 calibre handgun with a loaded magazine, several prohibited weapons, drug paraphernalia and cash,” said Codiac RCMP Sgt. Marco Leger.
“Police also recovered a stolen scooter.”
Investigators say they arrested a 34-year-old man, whom police did not identify by name. He is scheduled to appear in Moncton Provincial Court in May 2023.
