Woman Killed In Crash Involving A Pedestrian

The New Brunswick says a 46-year-old woman from the Beechwood area died Friday following a single-vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.

Mounties from the Western Valley Region Detachment responded shortly after 6 p.m. to the collision on Route 105 in Beechwood, N.B., about 20 minutes from Perth-Andover.

Police say the driver of the vehicle was uninjured., but the pedestrian died at the scene from her injuries.

An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the woman’s exact cause of death.
