Team N.B. At Canada Summer Games: Aug 8

New Brunswick beat Manitoba 9-7 in baseball at Welland Baseball Stadium. The female basketball team also won against the Yukon 131-29. 

In Men’s Beach Volleyball, New Brunswick lost to Alberta 2-0 and also lost to British Columbia 2-0.  In Women’s Beach Volleyball, they lost to British Columbia 2-0 and to Ontario 2-1.

Quebec won in the Female Box Lacrosse competition, beating New Brunswick 7-2. 

During the Mountain Bike Cycling, Vanessa Thomsen finished in 12th place, Laurence Arseneau came in 15th place and Emilie McIntyre did not finish. 

In Men’s Cross Country, Noah Lydon came in 15th place, Anthony Arseneau finished in 19th place and Antoine Lacombe crossed the finish line in 22nd place. 

Saskatchewan won against New Brunswick 22-19 during Female Rugby Sevens held on Alumni Field at Brock University. Ontario also won 15-0 against Team New Brunswick.

In Male Soccer, New Brunswick claimed a 1-0 victory over Prince Edward Island. 

Female Softball saw Alberta take the prize over New Brunswick with a 5-1 victory. 

Nova Scotia won 5-1 in the Tennis Competition against New Brunswick. 

In the Sprint Male Triathlon, Yannick Dupuis came in 16th place, Kieran Everett finished in 21st place and Alexandre Comeau crossed the finish line in 24th place. 

In the Sprint Female Triathlon, Emmerson Scott came in 25th place, Kirsten Simpson finished in 27th place and Lydia Bodechon crossed the finish line in 28th.
