A 27-year-old Fredericton man is facing multiple charges after a vehicle search turned up several illegal drugs.
Police tried to stop a vehicle on Fredericton’s northside on July 22 as part of an ongoing investigation. When the vehicle failed to stop and fled the scene, officers located the vehicle and a man was arrested.
Members of the Fredericton Police Force Patrol Division, Street Crime and Drug Units helped in the arrest.
As a result, Zachery Parker was charged with the following:

- Section 5(2) CDSA Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking: Methamphetamine
- Section 5(2) CDSA Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking: Cocaine
- Section 5(2) CDSA Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking: Oxycodone
- Section 5(2) CDSA Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking: Lysergic Acid Diethylamide
- Section 5(2) CDSA Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking: Benzodiazepine
- Section 320.17 CC Failing to stop for Police
- Section 320.18 CC Operate a Motor Vehicle while Prohibited
- Section 733.1(1)(a) Breach of Probation
Parker appeared in court on July 25 and was remanded into custody. He is scheduled to appear in court for a show cause hearing on Aug. 8.
