It’s a one-year contract in the American Hockey League for one lucky member of the Saint John Sea Dogs.
Sea Dogs forward Riley Bezeau has signed to the Charlotte Checkers in Charlotte, N.C., the top minor league affiliate of the Florida Panthers.
The 20-year-old wrapped this past season with the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, earning 38 points in 93 Sea Dogs games.
He also scored a total of 27 points in 56 contests and four points in five postseason games while serving as an alternate captain during the 2022 Memorial Cup.
Bezeau is currently attending Florida’s Development Camp.
