Four people are temporarily homeless after a Sunday afternoon fire damaged a two-storey home in Saint John.
The Canadian Red Cross says first responders were called to the George Street home shortly after 2 p.m. on July 10. The home contained two separate apartment-style units.
Volunteers are helping four adults with emergency lodging, along with the purchase of meals, clothing and other basics.
There is no word on the cause of the fire, nor the extent of the damage.
