Miramichi-area head to the polls on Monday for a set of by-elections to elect their new MLAs.
Byelections are taking place in Miramichi Bay-Neguac and Southwest Miramichi-Bay.
Government says polls are open from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Voters can also vote at the local returning office for their riding.
“We encourage electors to bring their voter information cards with them when they come to vote so that we can provide them with faster service,” said Chief Electoral Officer Kim Poffenroth in a news release.
The Progressive Conservatives, Liberals, Greens and the People’s Alliance all have candidates in the race. There is also one independent candidate in the Miramichi Bay-Neguac riding.

Results will be posted on the Elections New Brunswick website once polls close.
