A 19-year-old is dead after a Sunday car crash near Shediac that also left another person injured.
The Shediac RCMP says officers responded to the scene at Route 134 shortly after 10 p.m. on Sunday night.
Police say the vehicle, occupied by two people, was lying on its roof in a ditch when crews arrived.
The passenger died at the scene, while the driver was taken to hospital by ambulance for his injuries.
No official word yet on the cause of the crash, but police believe drug or alcohol impairment to be a factor.
An investigation is ongoing.
