It was an early Sunday morning for fire crews in Fredericton.
Firefighters were called to Forest Hill Road shortly after 3 a.m. on Sunday to a report of a deck fire.
When crews arrived, they were met with heavy fire on the deck and back wall of the home, extending to the roof.
“A second alarm was struck for all crews in the city,” said the Fredericton Fire Fighters’ Association on Facebook.
“A quick and aggressive attack knocked the fire down and stopped it from spreading to other attached units.”
Fire crews remained on the scene for several hours.
Still no word on the cause of the blaze or if there were any injuries.
