Motorcycle Crash Kills 59-Year-Old Fredericton Man

A motorcycle crash has claimed the life of a 59-year-old Fredericton man.

Officers from the Fredericton Police Force responded shortly after 8 p.m. on Sunday to a collision involving a motorcycle and a vehicle on the Lincoln Road near the Experimental Farm.

The 59-year-old motorcycle driver was taken to hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Police say the driver of the other vehicle was not injured.

Lincoln Road was closed for several hours as the investigation took place Sunday night, with police saying the cause of the crash is still unknown.
