Police in Saint John are warning residents of a possible bear sighting near the area of the Irving Nature Park.
In a message posted to Twitter, the force asked Saint Johners to avoid the Children’s Forest Park at 1510 Sand Cove Road due to a bear sighting.
Officers said New Brunswick’s Department of Natural Resources has been contacted about the case.
Police will continue to monitor the situation.
