Rogersville Man Dead After Two-Vehicle Crash

A 59-year-old Rogersville man died late Tuesday morning after a two-vehicle crash in Long Creek, N.B.

First responders were called shortly before noon on Tuesday to a collision on Highway 10 involving an SUV and a dump truck.

Police believe the 59-year-old driver of the SUV attempted to pass a vehicle while travelling northbound and crashed head-on with a dump truck travelling southbound.

He died at the scene as a result of his injuries. An autopsy will determine the man’s exact cause of death.

The dump truck driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to hospital.

An investigation into the cause of the crash remains ongoing.
