Canadians still have a couple of hours left to file their 2021 income tax.
The deadline to submit your return to the Canada Revenue Agency is May 2, which is later than the usual deadline, April 30, since that date fell on a Saturday.
Missing the deadline could mean late-filing penalties and interest on the balance owing.
The CRA says it can also cause delays to your benefit and credit payments.
But, those who are self-employed have until June 15 to file their taxes.
