Canada Drops Testing Requirements For Travellers Under 12

Canada will no longer require unvaccinated children aged five to 11 to take a COVID-19 test when entering the country.

Kids under the age of five also don’t require a test.

But, for partially vaccinated or unvaccinated travellers aged 12 and older, pre-entry tests are still needed in order to travel to Canada.

Ottawa announced several other minor changes to ease restrictions for international travellers.

Fully vaccinated travellers, and any kids under 12 accompanying them, will no longer need to provide their quarantine plans upon entry. They also aren’t required to wear masks for 14 days, keep a list of contacts or report COVID-19 symptoms.
